Integrations and automation

Your tools, connected. The repetitive work, done by software.

The order that gets copied from an email into a spreadsheet and retyped into an invoice is work a computer can do the same way every time.

01 · What we build

What we build.

Tools connected

Your CRM, accounting, website and email passing the same data between them instead of people re-keying it.

Manual steps removed

The copy-paste-retype routine replaced by one step done by software, every time.

Scheduled jobs

The reminder, the export or the report that runs on its own, on time.

A clear record

Every automated run logged, so you can see what happened and when.

02 · How we do it

The stages for this work.

  1. Step 01: Map the work

We follow one real process end to end and write down every step and hand-off.

  2. Step 02: Agree the rules

What triggers each step, what the exceptions are, and who is told when something needs a person.

  3. Step 03: Build and test

We build the connection, test it on real cases, and run it beside the manual process first.

  4. Step 04: Hand over

The integration, its tests and a runbook, in your accounts and your name.

03 · What you receive

Yours to keep, from day one.

Your source code

All of it, in a repository in your name, with its history.

Automated tests

The tests that prove the behaviour, run on every change.

Documentation and a runbook

How it works and how to run it, written in plain language.

A change log

A record of what was added, changed and fixed, stage by stage.

04 · Quality and security

Checked on every change.

OWASP ASVS 4.0.3 Level 1 as the baseline, Level 2 on request. We follow NCSC secure development guidance.

Type checks

Every change is type-checked before it is merged.

Automated tests

The behaviour is covered by tests that run on every change.

Secret scan

Every change is scanned so no credential reaches the repository.

Dependency scan

Dependencies are scanned for known vulnerabilities on every change.

05 · When this fits

When this is the right work, and when it isn't.

A good fit

You use several tools that do not talk to each other, and the same data gets typed in more than once. The process has rules you can describe.

Not the right call

The process changes every time and has no rules anyone can write down. Automating guesswork just makes the wrong thing happen faster.

06 · Questions

Common questions.

Who owns the automations you build?

You do. They run in your own accounts, with the code and a runbook in your name, so another engineer can pick them up.

What if a tool has no API?

We check that first, in discovery. If a safe, supported connection is not possible, we tell you before any work starts.

What happens when something fails?

The system retries and catches up where it safely can, and tells a person when a case genuinely needs one.
